About This Image
I have been given the amazing oppurtunity to photograph a mated pair of American Bald Eagles, and their offspring. In this image the babies were about 8 weeks old or so. Unfortunately shortly after this image was taken we lost one of the babies. There is now only one baby who has successfully left the nest. I was deeply saddened by the loss of the other baby and continously went back to watch for signs of his return. Sadly he did not survive. Shot in the wild, natural habitat
