Guest - Oct 20, 2007 07:13 PM EDT Hi Alex, I like this one a lot, only just found it. really nice.
My uncle was an RAF flight navigator in a Lancaster bomber during WW2. He sent me a copy of his logbook. He was honoured by the Polish Gov't for his part in the Polish Rising/uprising, - rec'd a medal. His plane was one of the few that returned to England, riddled with holes.

Guest - Sep 24, 2007 06:08 PM EDT Yes, this plane does still fly and takes up passengers as well. They were at the air show for two days taking multiple trips. There was also a B-24 Liberator and a B-25 Mitchell at the airshow as well doing the same thing.
Guest - Sep 22, 2007 02:55 AM EDT This one looks to be in good shape. Is it still flying? Nicely captured detail.
