About This Image

A macro of Azalea blossoms taken in my
yard. You can see part of an ant inside the
bloom on the left.

Lorraine, Plumeriagrl and Alandra, thanks for looking and commenting. The ant is in the center of the flower on the left. I'll have to post another photo showing more of the ant. If you didn't know if was there, in looking at the photo you can't really see it. :) So it's not really "old age" Plumeriagrl. lol

very pretty azalea. this is the season for azaleas and rhododendrons around here also, there are some wonderful specimens around. Our bright red rhodo has passed its prime, sad to say, as it was my favorite of the 2 we have. It got crowded out over the years. The one I don't care for as much (mauve with darker centre flowers) is doing fine, - typical :)

Nice macro of the Azaleas. What a stunning color. For the life of me I still cant place the ant that you wrote about. I guess you can chalk that one up to old age.
