Well, tonight I sat by the lake once more and was beginning to get discouraged because although there were clouds galore in the sky, there was no color. I was just about to leave when I noticed the faintest hint of color on some of the clouds. Then , quite unexpectedly , the sky turned into a beautiful show of color.....

Thanks Alandra....the only other time I saw a sky like this , with those same type of clouds was in the spring and I got a few pics from my window.

This is beautiful. I have learned to wait at least 15 minutes after the sun sets to get the reds.
