Thanks Lulu. I visited the park again yesterday and she's still there. She looks pretty healthy, so I think the locals are making sure she gets enough to eat, and watch that the other ducks don't pick on her too much. I left her a wee nibble myself, but she has to give the sparrows a bit of a hurry along!

I love this shot. It really looks like the duck has teeth. I also took a photo of this duck but it never turned out as good as this. Well done with this lovely, clear shot.

Thanks everyone. Mel you're right - should have put "she'll eat ya". I was really lucky to get this shot! Now the sad part - she only had one leg and was not at all happy about me getting too close. Only took two photos then let her be.
