I would like to thank all the parents that came and wekord the Swim Hop. Even with bad weather threatening we had 46 kids show up, and have a lot of fun. Please spread the word that our next Swim Hop is July 13th. We will have a live DJ, lifeguards and the pool has a diving board. (possibly the only one in Slidell.) We have concessions, drinks, chips, and candy. Hope to see you soon.

This one won first place (not the Grand Prize) of the Great American Photo Workshop Shootout. The result is another workshop with GAPW at Glacier NP in July. I cannot wait!

fabulous shot. echoing all the other comments. Love the underside wing view. Would love to even SEE one of these Great Egrets, have never seen one in real life yet. Lots of Great Blue Herons in our area, will have to look further for Great Egrets : )
