In our driveway we have a large Aloe Vera plant that I struck a cutting from 10 years ago at least,the number of times we have used them for sunburn is numerous,also have used it for our special needs son's health issues as it aids digestion.

Technical:this image has been rotated 2 degress to the left auto fix exposure,sharpened slighly.

Thank you Steve and Alandra,the care of them is easy as they love full sun and only water,no fertilisers needed,they flower in winter usually which can cheer up any winter garden.

also wanted to comment on the very pretty shade of orange in this plant, Vince. Have never seen aloe vera in bloom, very nice and sharp also. Have read about the medicinal properties of aloe vera but haven't tried it myself, altho can recall my mum in law using it.
