We only see sights like this when we get spring rains on the Sonoran Desert.+

Guest - Dec 22, 2005 04:47 PM EDT Once upon a time (and a lot of years) I lived in the Mojave Desert. THIS is a lovely shot of a special time in the desert.
Guest - Jul 11, 2005 03:21 PM EDT Nature is amazingly resilient. All those seeds waiting for their moment in the sun! Lucky you to see it and capture it so beautifully!
Guest - Jul 09, 2005 12:28 PM EDT Nice shot Gary, I don't know how I missed this one.I can see how it would catch your eye, driving by.
Guest - Jun 13, 2005 08:42 PM EDT Thanks. There is nothing like that out there right now. It is all hot and brown. We'll have to wait for winter to get some relief from this.
Guest - Jun 13, 2005 06:10 PM EDT what a hapy trail...
Guest - Aug 15, 2004 06:57 PM EDT Frank. That's a good question. I went back to the unedited original to check it out. The yellows and greens are indeed that saturated. I remember the shot very well. I was on a desert back road and suddenly caught this yellow glare in the corner of my eye. I stopped my truck and got several shots. The colors were really outstanding.
Guest - Aug 14, 2004 11:24 PM EDT Love the colors and composition. Good lead in from front to back using the "C" curve. Any enhancement here or are the yellows and greens really that saturated? Very nice!
