Yes, Alandra, it was the greens against the stone work that I liked too. I aslo like the uniformity of the row of houses and the fact that they all have the same coloured doors. I think they may be 'listed' buildings - not sure. Thanks for your comments Brian; a very beautiful part of England. Thanks for the lovely comments Carol, am glad you like Lake District scene. Yes, I hope the residents appreciate their lovely outlook - am sure they do. :)

lovely shades of green in this one, Jas. Verdant is the word that comes to mind here.
