now here is a question i know what this is as my wife got it for our anniversary (30/07/07) so i would like for you you all to guess what it is ..
i am thinking of doing a canvas for this one

Congratulations to you and your wife on your Anniversary. What a beautiful Japanese Rose. I also thought it was a Lisianthus, but would love a rose of that colour, esp thornless.

very pretty, wonderful colour. My first thought is that these are Lisianthus. Some do look like roses when they are in full bloom. Check on google, you will find some of the same colour on there.

hi bernie thanks for your comments . these roses stand about 7-8 inches high but do not have any thorns on them

LOL. Thanks for the quiz Mike. I would have failed dismally. What a weird looking rose. I have never seen a purple rose before. Nothing like all of the roses I have seen/received (hahaha). I will have to hunt out the garden centres over here. GAV (fellow TLF member) would love one of these in her rose garden. Are they a normal sized plant, or a miniature?
