About This Image

I caught this group of House Sparrows hanging around on a Spanish Dagger cactus in my yard. You would think that a horizontal landing spot would be nicer but they like the cactus for some reason LOL..

Hi Ann and Bruce, Thanks again for looking at my photo and for your nice comments... Hey Bruce, I did a Google image search and they sure do look like sparrows ='.'= I have thought they were Finch for years.. Do you know how many photos I have named wrong all over the Internet? I might get them fixed by 2011... Doing some looking around I found a page that said that House Sparrows are not actually sparrows, but are Old World Weaver Finches.

Good shot, as usual. I think they're house sparrows (AKA english sparrows).
