Alameda Beach with San Francisco looming in the background, shrouded in fog.

I did a lot of beach clean-up (digitally) to rid the shot of garbage, seagulls and other sorts of visual distractions. I am in love with the bright colored umbrella and it's contrast to the distant grey imposing metropolis.

This is very "impressionist" look, that you have created. The opposite emotion that comes from the beach,is wonderfully juxtaposed with the cityscape.A super view, of a moment in time.

I like the contrast in this picture... the beach with the city in the back ground... great job
