Pohutukawa

The Pohutukawa is New Zealands Xmas Tree. It has a lovely red bloom which comes out in December. In contrast to the Northern Hemisphere the Xmas's here are lovely and warm.

Lovely capture of the bee on the Pohutukawa flower. The flower resembles a bottlebrush flower. I like the angle you've taken the shot from too.
