Do You See Me?

This is a common Jack Rabbit that can be found everyplace from the desert to your back yard here in Arizona. They think they are sneaky but with the sun behind them there ears look like two red lights. There ears are so thin that there blood makes them look red. This guy was standing by his house on the right under the bush. They think if they stay perfectly still you won't see them.

WOW.. Thanks everyone for all the great comments. I'm glad you all enjoyed seeing our Jack Rabbits. I also love seeing all of your different critters that don't like the desert. Hey Golda, you've not seen all the photos I've deleted, it would really be stretching it to call them art LOL...

Great shot, Alan, love it. as everyone else wrote, the huge ears showing redness is really cool. Very interesting seeing all the different wildlife and birds from the various regions.

"What big red ears you have, grandmother!!" This picture truly looks like a story book picture and the red ears are outstanding!! Thanks. The scenery is beautiful and adds to the red ears. Great picture.
