Just a small zoom lens. I was standing about 10 feet from them, while my son was on the upper deck feeding them some stale bread. This is a pair of bucks that are seemingly roaming the mountain together.

This is a great shot of those deer. You must have a good zoom lens because whenever I try to get close enough to deer to get this good of a photo, they bolt.
