Wild Desert Globemallow

These blooms are from a wild desert bush the Globemallow that grows everyplace, even in my yard. The blooms are really small, about the size of your fingernail and they grow on long stems. After cutting these down in my yard for 30 years I finally had to find out what there name was for this photo.

Hi Don, I'm glad you enjoyed my photo.. Thanks very much... I think I'm going to use my 75-300mm for more close photos, I also like the DOF I can get with it..

Hi Lorraine, Ann, Cindy, and Jas... Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments. I'm glad you all liked my photo with the blurry background. It is fun and a little challenging to take macro shots with my 75-300mm critter hunting lens...

Nice, clear, close-up of these very pretty flowers and I like the 'soft' focus of the ones in the background, showing colour but not definition. :)

They are a very pretty bloom and the blurred background enhances them :)
