About This Image

Whangarei Falls 26 metre fall over basalt rock into a bush fringed pool. Beautiful walks in this area and some say these are the most photogenic falls in New Zealand.

Thanks for that, spot can be a target for car thieves unfortunatley which is not good for the countries image.

Brings back great memories of our trip in 2006. We walked all round here and, of course, got a couple of shots of the falls too. Beautiful!
