My Old Shed

My Old Shed

This is my old shed that I have abandoned for a good twenty five years. It was in bad shape when I bought my house and it is still in the same shape. After this rare snow storm here in Arizona I thought the snow made it look nice and new. I have been working on the roof as of 2007 and now my daughter is using it as a storage shed.

Hi Brian and Solaria, Thanks very much for your really nice comments. I'm glad you liked my photo Solaria :) Yea Brian it is a little barren and behind the times out here, but you don't have to worry about getting mugged or a tree falling on your car LOL..

Solaria on Jan 30, 2008 at 1:13 PM said:

It's very beautiful.

I like it a lot.

I've always liked this image, although I think it would suck to live in such a place. I'm glad I live in the 21st century.

Hi Gminniss, Thanks for checking out my photo and leaving your nice comment. I'm glad you enjoyed this photo :-) I have also been enjoying your photos. Others may have the snow scenes covered but we have the cactus views lol..

The snow and the shed look great! I know that snow is a rare sight for you, as it is with us here in Scottsdale.

Thanks very much Kathy... I'm glad you like my photo :) We do not get snow very often. I was out walking around that morning and my old shed caught my eye. A few hours later all the snow was gone.

This is a very appealing shot. I love the contrast of the warm shades of brown in the shed against the various shades of blue in sky and snow. Really very, very pretty!

"Thanks Very Much Everyone" for all your great comments. I was really surprised it was picked. It must be like Alandra and Mary said, it's nostalgic and thought provoking. If only those walls could talk right? LOL..
