Isingglass pond

A shot of Isingglass pond ,which is a local pond and a quiet place to visit.Its name comes from a nearby mica mine where they mined large pieces of mica for the isingglass windows in stove doors etc.

Very pretty scene. The name caught my eye. I use Isinglass (mica) in some of my artwork. Did you see any of this mineral when you were there? Is this a man made pond? Beautiful colors and I also like the branch of the tree framing the upper part of the scene.
