: Guess Who Won't Be Home For Dinner Tonight; While leaving the hiking trail along the berm of the South Rim Canal at Lake Okeechobee, I noticed this boat looking definitely "high and dry". Thank you, Don - that tilt sure caught my eye - especially knowing how heavily-laden some of the barges are that travel through here when bringing heavy-duty driers to the sugar cane mills. I've seen them in the W.P. Franklin Lock near Alva, being both towed AND pulled at the same time by tug boats from the Gulf near Ft Myers - now I hope to see what happens when they reach Clewiston or head towards Belle Glade - another major sugar cane processing area.
