Lucy is a real water dog, - she loves it more than Maggie does. Sand in mouth from digging after her swim - she starts "wimping" as we approach the beach, she knows where she's going and gets so excited.

Labs are such wonderful buddies. Unfortunately, Lucy can't go swimming as often as we'd like to take her there, as she gets ear problems

My old dog, Aspen, the black lab, loved the water too. He'd just go nuts every time we were around water.

this makes me feel badly, as we haven't taken the Labs for a swim this summer, due to Lucy have ear problems earlier. in this hot weather they would've loved it. Must take them soon.
