Sonoran Sonata

Sonoran SonataThis photograph was composed and taken in natural light at about 12:00 P.M. I find it to be a contrast piece, a still life, perhaps "Misc." or "Creative". The desert is often silent, the foliage somewhat unkind, but in the midst of the cactus needles and stones, the violin speaks of music, of smooth planes, and like a child taking his first lessons, there are sharp, dissonant tones in the presence of huge potential.
