As I drove home from Sunkist Bay in Beachlands I stopped off to look back and photograph where I had been for the afternoon.Flat Island has a connection with me as I crossed from Sunkist Bay when I was young wading through the knee high low tide to stay for an hour or two and explore with a friend this very flat island and the watch my late father had given me was lost there.

I never did find it after repeating the small expedition the next low tide.
