I have now actually cloned out the tree top at the bottom and adjust the contrasts up as suggested.

Yes this could work for the Lines & Curves challenge. I actually composed this shot for a "Red" challenge, however didn't enter it as I couldn't make the meeting. Maybe I have 2 condenders now!
