thanks for noticing this one, Lulu and the kind comments. Honestly, the tulips around here this past spring were SO gorgeous, can never recall them being so wonderful, not sure why they were so special this time. Up til this year, I'd always preferred daffies and other narcissus, but changed my mind after the tulips this spring. We don't have them in our garden anymore either, we did sometime ago, but they went to nothing after a few years. The daffies fared better and still appear each spring. But this fall, am planning to get some more tulip bulbs for next spring.
