thanks again, Janice. they are in unison, as you wrote. I liked the way this one looks.

Perfect shots of BIFS. They are flying so in unison.

Hi Cindy, that must be telepathy, as was just thinking of you, realizing I hadn't replied to your earlier note. apologies. hope you see this. I haven't been on SU or any other of those sites for ages.

thanks for the nice comments also.

I like the way all 3 birds are in the same "wing mode" here, just like pilots flying in those formations. Nature is wonderful.

Hi Alandra, this is a lovely shot. Am always keen to see your photos taken with your different lenses as you always seem to capture them nicely :)

thankyou all, Carol, Alex and Anne, for your nice comments, always appreciated. The sun was just going down that day, so it added some nice colouring to the images and subjects.

There was a man there taking pics of the same flock of snowgeese, with a tripod set up and the most huge lens on his camera that we'd ever seen. Am wondrin' what his images turned out like.

All mine are hand held, (so far) - prefer to be more free and spontaneous like the birds I'm capturing images of : )

Hi Lorraine, thankyou. we were quite happy to see these, as we hadn't seen many snowgeese this winter.

It was quite funny watching the younger geese, as some were finding potatoes in the ploughed field they were landing in, and they would grab the spud in their beak and rush off with it, like a prize, so that the other geese wouldn't rob them of it : )
