thanks Susan, that was almost a year ago. we passed by these gardens today, enroute to and from Vancouver, - but we haven't been back there, despite taking out a membership a year ago, - there was significant damage done to the gardens (and other wooded areas like Stanley Park) during the winter storms, so the areas have been closed at times, for restoration work etc.
