Hi there Whittler. Thank you for your viewing and commenting on this

photograph. This is a granite wall that goes from the den on one side

to the livingroom on the other side of this granite wall. There was

a place left to put a fireplace or stove in the wall. The mantel is

about five feet or so off the floor.

daughter keeps the old traditions of hanging the stockings by the

chimney. Her children are her two golden labs.
