: The Illusive Morel; The morel mushroom, gem of the forest. It is that time of year again. A few Morel mushrooms are popping. I had a small feast last night and ate 27 of them, they were all small. Yummm! These are my favorite mushrooms, Don. My daughter's live near good gathering grounds for them in SW Michigan - nobody EVER reveals their best picking spots!
