Just an update after the recent flooding. I was unable to get back to this overlook after the flood before we left - but the waters ran over the bridge in the foreground, and the rail and auto bridge in the middle were closed as the waters lapped just underneath them. The campground to the ipper left of the top bridge, on the island, was totally underwater. And the river rose way faster than anticipated. I will be sharing some aftermath photos from our campground.

Pennsylvania is a beautiful state. I recently bought some jigsaw puzzle blanks and transferred an image from this location with Michael to send to his grandson in Florida. Now several of our coworkers are adding mental stops to the overlook as it is an amazing view. (And the campground owner is going to sell my puzzles of the campground in his store!!!)

Thank you for your comments. We saw the sign to the overlook right after we got there (We arrived via the topmost bridge in April), and finally took the time to go up - now we tell everyone to be sure to stop there. Several bikers from the Rally rode up on side trips and got some wonderful images.
