Spirit Bear "Bear-Leave in Magic"

Spirit Bear named "Bear-Leave in Magic", artist Penny Martyn. On Oak Street in Vancouver, BC, along with another Spirit Bear statue and 2 dolphin statues.

There are many quotations written in various parts of the bear's cloak, would like to have had time to copy them, but it was beating hot that day, and we were on a quest to find as many Spirit bears as we could : )

LOL, yeah, I was the same way, running all over the place, trying to find all of the bears down near Canada Place and around Vancouver.

yes, I noticed that also, about his Wand being sorta lost in the trees. I chose this one as I liked the bear's shadow : ) I did take several different views of most of the Spirit Bears, - but with the sun being so bright when I shot this one, it was sorta hard to get exactly what I wanted in the other direction. I had just bought the new lens, so at this point am just getting used to it, and am really happy with the way the photos are turning out. As I get used to it, I'll play with DOF etc. : ) Yes, I agree, cloning out the pole will be a good idea, I did consider removing the car too.

It would be cool to see this bear with a different depth of field so that the background is blurred especially since the thing that he's holding is sort of lost in the trees. It would also be cool to see a different angle of him since the pole to the left is distracting (or possibly cropped differently or the pole removed with a digital software program). Just my humble opinion...
