Small Orb Web

Small Orb Web

I encountered four separate webs from eye level down to the grass. The afternoon sun was shining on this web and it reminded me of how a cd reflects light. The silk was very fine and almost invisible and I saw only one small spider off to the side. This is the type that usually gets caught on your face when out in the garden because it is so small.

Thank you, Carol, Talsi and Cindy, for taking time to visit and your kind feedback. I liked how each strand has a bead on the three outside lines to show how it was constructed.

A very nice photo Karen, I especially like how the background shows it up nicely. I'm always intrigued at watching a spider build it's web.

Beautiful against the pretty shade of green.
