thanks Mary for the nice comments. These guys were using this new feeder we got, in another part of patio, and we noticed how fast they were going thru the seed. Turns out, most of the seed was being thrown out onto the ground!! lol - so Madeson shovelled it up and put it in a different type feeder out back - something will eat it. Glad he saw the seed on the ground before the rain fell last night.
