Muddy Road to Nowhere

On the memorable day when it snowed on the McDowell Mountains, I took this back road to get away from the madding crowds (of photographers). I know the roads in this area very well as I have spent some considerable time out here. Needless to say, I drove very slowly and carefully. There was no one out there to pull me out if I got stuck.

Thanks Mary. Yes, it was dangerously muddy that day. The hardest part was getting turned around to come back out. I had to get off the road a little bit to do that.

Looks like an interesting and dangerous/muddy road to travel.

Nice photo.
