Snow Plowing Contraption

A shot of my snow plowing contraption from the drivers seat.As you see,it has no windshield wipers so the visibility isn't too great .

This contraption is a 1975 Scout 4x4 with a 1932 ford p/u body on it. It does need a bit of cosmetic work but it runs good for a yard truck.LOL

Thanks for the great comments Alfresco and Lorraine,I remember seeing those "Doodlebugs" around this area as I was growing up and even owned one myself.They seem to have all gone into hiding now though.LOL

Sounds like what we called a "doodlebug" in the rural Western NY area I grew up in in the 1940's and 50's. A utility vehicle cobbled out of junkyard parts, and used mostly for plowing snow and dragging things, like logs and junk cars. I remember one with two transmissions coupled together, put them both in reverse and the thing would pull a house down.
