Sliding Rock on Moose River

Kyakers refer to sliding rock on the Moose River as "knifes Edge." When the water is low it looks it bit like a buthcers block.

I agree with Jas and her earthy colours, the water too, if that can be said about water.

I like the 'earthy' colours and the rugged textures in this shot. I'm afraid I wouldn't be kayaking down there; I'm definitely a land-lubber!:)

They open the flood gates every fall for one weekend to have Moose Fest where you can be as much of a daredevil or not. I prefer to to photograph from the land. Its amazing what some of them do. They can run from Old Forge to Lyons Falls.

Looks like it could be fun to kayak. providing you are a dare devil. I know some people that would do that

Hi Julie, Welcome to The Lens Flare... Beautiful photo of the little waterfall. That does look like a very dangerous place to kayak through ='.'= There's not many waterfalls out here in Arizona, I'm going to really enjoy your up-coming photos...
