red tailed Hawk named Ladyhawk. Sometimes she perched with her beak quite close to the young handler, and I asked him if she ever bit him and he said "no" -- but she was accidentally "digging in" to his arm occasionally with her talons as she moved around and moved off the cuff of his glove a bit. After awhile, someone brought her special perch outside, so she was more comfortable then, being able to get a better grip on her proper perch.
