Gift of Light

I saw the sun shining through the red leaves of this tree while out on one of my training runs this Sunday. Luckily, I was carrying the camera, and stopped to take a shot. When I got home and downloaded the shot, I saw the beautiful rainbow effect created by the lens flare (I guess it was a lens flare!)

I think it's beautiful, even if I didn't see it THERE in real life!

Rainbows are like hidden gems of color in a sea of light. They are always present, but not always seen. Who knows, perhaps this was a little gift of nature, meant specially for you!
