Mother Raccoon & baby

: Mother Raccoon & baby; took this today in our backyard. Note the Mother's hind feet on the lower branch and the front legs on upper branch! : ) A neighbour's dog had scared the mother and baby into the tree, so I ran indoors to get the camera. glad you like the pic. we have a mother raccoon here this year with 3 youngsters - I surprised the babies out back a few days ago, and there was much fierce growling from the babies : )
