Blind Mama Raccoon & her baby

: Blind Mama Raccoon & her baby; this is the blind Mama Raccoon again, at our front patio fountain and bird bath, and this time she has her baby with her! She might have had 2 youngsters there, but am not sure, as they are hard to see hiding behind the leaves, plus the babies are more timid than the mother. I was so hoping she wouldn't have babies this year, being that she's blind, but here they are, at least, here's one. well, it's now September. Have seen the blind Mother raccoon a couple times lately, but sadly, the baby hasn't been seen for a long time. I don't know what happened to the poor little thing.

This is a real touching story. Maybe your garden will provide a safe haven for them and even with her disability, hopefully she can adjust her life to find ways to protect herself and her young. My fingers are crossed!!
