Prickly Pear Bloom

: Prickly Pear Bloom; On my first spring hike around the desert, I noticed that I'm a little early for the Prickly Pear blooms. There are a few of them out with tons more on the way. I love there pink to a off purple bloom colors. This is one of my first macro shots with my XTi.; Equipment:

Hi Anne, I'm glad you liked my cactus bloom photo. Thanks for your really nice comment.. Yes all of the pointed buds will be blooms, it looks like there are going to be tons of them this year. All of the buds take turns blooming, they don't all bloom at once.
