That's a really nice weed photo. I agree with Mary about the background working well with making the weeds stand out. Only you could turn common weeds into a pretty plant :)

You not only made weeds pretty, you have planted a seed. Yep a seed in my head.. This sounds like a fun contest theme for July. Everyone should have no problem in finding some weeds to make pretty.

I too like the composition, colors and textures. The weeds with the dark water/stream as a background make them pop out.
