Contrast

Sometimes you can not see the Forest for the Trees, such is the case with this picture. While taking several pictures from various angles I never got the compostion I wanted. but someting kept after me about this area, it was not till I got home and looked for a while that the real picture was the contrasting colors and textures and refections.

Very lovely shot, try dropping the levels a bit and increasing the contrast to pop the colors out even more. Nice work.

Great symmetry. I LIKE HOW THE REFLECTION TURNS INTO THE CLEAR VIEW OF THE ROCKS UNDER THE WATER.

No this was taken in the southern end if Indiana County almost into Westmoreland County, Near my House, Its now part of the Conamaugh Dam Back water. Sometimes this bridge is under about 50' of water. And Thanks to you all for the nice comments.

The photo is gorgeous. Beautiful reflections and the water is so clear. Picture perfect! Did you take this at Cooks Forest?
