this is one picnic area at the Peace Arch Park Border crossing, between Canada and the USA at Blaine, Washington State. This is on the Canadian side of the border.

This is at the back of the building shown in the earlier photo, captured at sundown.

There are also picnic tables throughout the park, also benches in several locations for people to enjoy the scenes, overlooking the Peace Arch and all the nice lawn and garden areas. The bay is a short distance below the trees in the background, plus a campsite is in that area also.
