Trees in Park, near owl's nest

this is part of the park where the great horned owl family lives. These are the tall cottonwood trees, similar to the one where the owl's nest is.

The owls nest is higher up than what these trees show. I'll try to capture the actual tree where the nest is, next time we go there, to give an idea how far up the nest is.

thanks Lorraine, yes it is a nice safe place for the owl family, everyone who lives around there is really interested and concerned for the owls' welfare and sort of watches out incase the babies fall from the nest, which usually happens each year. So someone places the baby owl back onto the tree branch/trunk and it somehow manages to crawl back up to the nest.

Very tall trees, looks like a safe for the owls to nest, looks a very nice place.
