I was photographing an ostrich 100 yds away on a ranch (a bit unusal find). I began making sounds trying to get it to look up, while focusing through the viewfinder. He was not responding, when something off to the side caught my eye. Another ostrich (which I had not seen before) moved up and was standing a couple of feet from my lens.
