Grand Canyon View

Grand Canyon ViewWe decided to spend a weekend in the Grand Canyon. It is just a two and a half hour drive from my home. The weather report was calling for snow and we figured we were going to get snowed in but did not care LOL..
The Grand Canyon is still being made by the Colorado River flowing through the bottom. The Grand Canyon is two hundred miles long, four to eighteen miles wide, and one mile deep.
The weather was really cold and windy. It would snow and then the sun would come out and melt it. This went on all weekend long. We would hang out in the shops by the fireplaces while it was snowing, then go out and take photos when the sun came out. In this photo you can get a idea of how big the Grand Canyon really is. On the left top you can just see three people. When you walk out to a lookout area you feel like your in a airplane.
