Mallard Hen - on 1 Foot

: Mallard Hen - on 1 Foot; this female mallard came out of the pond at the gardens to visit us. She'd just had a good stretch of her wings at this point & was balancing on one foot. Had never noticed the stripes on the hen mallards' heads before, but maybe had never viewed one this close.
