Thanks Alandra. We made our own tour up. Flew NZ to Darwin,hired a car and drove to Alice Springs and back again, calling in at the National Parks en route. Loved it. More to Aussi than the Opera House.

beautiful. My cousin & wife (from UK) spent several mos touring NZ and Oz last year at this time, and loved it. They spoke of this wonderful experience of having a fabulous meal outdoors in the outback, near Ayers Rock I think it was, complete with a star show under the stars when it got dark. Sounded fabulous. Did you take that tour also?
