Thanx Lulu,I have to drive a few streets to get a pic of Rangitoto and when the fog rolls in its always worth it.The hike sounds like fun thou,there is a small train that takes you to the top now.Still no inhabitants as far as I know.

I can't say I've quite seen Rangitoto looking like this. Certainly a lot different to all those postcards they put out. The whole photo looks almost ghostly. I have done some hikes on Rangitoto as a teenager but would like to go back and take photos this time. You have done a great job with this one. If this is your view from home, it sure is a good one.
